ocSinet e-catalogue

ocSinet’s e-catalogue is what the name suggests: a flexible online catalogue that allows you to independently display and manage your products on the internet. It not only makes it easy to insert products but also to create and organise as many categories and subcategories as you need. Unlike printed catalogues that are often out of date days after having been printed, the online version can be kept constantly updated. This is done via a user friendly “what you see is what you get” interface that is extremely intuitive to use.

Your communication with customers can be adapted to suit your needs. For instance, you might choose to only make the price visible to registered users. This way once you have acquired email addresses you can send mailings or updated catalogues. Your online catalogue can be tailor designed to fit any businesses needs whether it be selling boats or holidays.

Access to the catalogue is not restricted to one administrator: it is possible to grant various degrees of hierarchical access whereby chosen individuals can alter data fields (information and descriptions) that correspond to their subject domain. For example the information about the motor of a car might be updated by a mechanic while the information about payments schemes and special offers might be updated by the marketing department.

Once products have been inserted, well paginated pages can be printed singly or the entire catalogue or selected sections and products can be made into PDFs and sent electronically. The e-catalogue adds interactivity to your site allowing direct contact with customers.

Design and construction of our e-catalogue follows our standard development protocol and the code is certified to W3C standards.
