ocSinet’s site development protocol
Our first step in building a website is to create a list of the various functions the site will fulfil. Do the contents need to be updated regularly? Who is the intended audience? Will there be many internal users on the site and is there a need for varying degrees of restricted access? This list then informs a second analysis of how these functional aspects and content (text and pictures) will fit together to make up the site.
We then develop a communication strategy that ensures synergy between your business, the site and your products. We understand that a successful site cannot be made without the following steps:
- A complete evaluation and discussion of the structural requirements of your site.
- A cost-benefit analysis of these various structural options.
- An evaluation of the outreach and diffusion aims for the site.
- Planning a site whose look and structure fit your business and not visa versa!
